Theresa is a Palawa woman whose ancestral include the country of the Truwulway people of Lumaranatana (Cape Portland) and around St. Patricks Head/Falmouth area in NE Lutruwita/Tasmania.

Theresa has worked independently as a cultural advisor with Roar Film, the National Maritime Museum of Australia, Causeway Films (The Nightingale) and the ABC.

She is a writer, poet and public speaker and has collaborated with various artists (local and international) for MONA, DARK MOFO and MONA FOMA.
